BWS #7 – Stripe is the payment processor you need

In today’s issue, I’m going to share the need for a payment processor in your business like Stripe.

Getting paid is one of the top priorities for any entrepreneur. How you are accepting payment follows that. Implementing a payment processor makes this simple.

Unfortunately, most people will accept payment the way their clients want to pay them. Put one system in place in your business and only use this method from now on.

Why do you need a payment processor in your business?

Accepting payment in a variety of ways leaves you vulnerable to not getting paid by your clients. When you collect a payment, you always need a payment processor.

How do you receive payment?

There are many ways to receive payment from clients:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Stripe
  • etc.

How are you receiving yours? Is it different for each client, or do you follow the same process for everyone? Getting your clients on the same process will save you time, not only for you but also for your clients. If you have recurring clients, you can tell them they will receive an invoice from you on this day going forward. If you work with new clients each month, you can let them know how they will be receiving their invoices. You are in charge of the process, not them.

Connect your Dubsado to Stripe

You can connect your Stripe account to your Dubsado CRM. You can set it up so that you can collect payment through Stripe when you send an invoice to your clients from Dubsado. This takes your business to the next level. There is no guessing about what the process is going to be. You know precisely how the process works. You walk each of your clients through the same process every time. If you do not have Dubsado in your business, I recommend it. I wrote about Dubsado in a prior newsletter.

You get paid quickly.

Not knowing when you will get paid by a client can be scary. Having a single process that protects you is the way to go!

How the process works

  • send your invoice
  • your client pays their invoice
  • Dubsado shows client paid their invoice
  • funds transferred in 3 – 5 days to your bank account

The days of late payments are gone.

Another exciting component is that your client can set up auto-payment with Dubsado. A recurring invoice goes out; the payment is automatically paid. How does that sound?

Summary

Step 1: How do you receive payment
